Reading Ingredients Lists for fun?
Yesterday I mentioned I spend about 2 hours working on each blog post. That is true. However, I usually end up spending more time than that reading ingredients lists of endless products online on the regular. It gives me something to do when insomnia is kicking my butt. Or I stumble across some skincare company I’ve never heard of before so I want to see if any of their products are glycerin free.
I probably spent 5+ hours yesterday looking at a slew of products, as well as researching other names for glycerin. I didn’t mean to keep at it so long. I get curious about a topic and want to find out more. Especially for a topic like this which is so important to me. I usually keep going until I start to feel overwhelmed. I certainly felt that way after finding so many alternative names for glycerin and it’s derivatives.
By next week I should have an updated master list of other names for glycerin. I right now I’m working on verifying that everything is indeed glycerin or one of it’s derivatives. I also want to get the list in alphabetical order. Lots of reading chemical and cosmetic ingredients databases. And double checking other sources with Google. I take this task very seriously.
