Hello!

Welcome to my blog about living glycerin free and being an awesome stay-at-home cat mom.

Can I still eat pre-made mashed potatoes?

Can I still eat pre-made mashed potatoes?

Last month I was out of town, visiting my family. I also got to spend some time with one of my oldest friends. Overall it was a lovely trip, though Parker did her best to not let me sleep.

We did a very nice Family Meal one Friday. While I did bake the pumpkin pies myself, I cheated at the mashed potatoes. We had enough dishes that required the oven and stove, that I bought pre-made mashed potatoes.

Since starting this blog I’ve become more vigilant about making sure there’s no form of glycerin in my food. So I actually read the ingredients lists when trying to decide which tub of pre-made mashed potatoes to buy. Of the four brands and eight varieties that I looked at, only one was glycerin free.

If you ever need to buy pre-made mashed potatoes, I recommend the Bob Evans All Natural Homestyle Classic mashed potatoes. Not only are they glycerin free, but they also have the shortest ingredients list and taste pretty good too.
