Hello!

Welcome to my blog about living glycerin free and being an awesome stay-at-home cat mom.

Why don’t they make glycerin free sheet masks?

Why don’t they make glycerin free sheet masks?

Every once in a while, as part of my self-care, I like to do a face mask. As I’ve gotten older, I try to take better care of my skin. I like to put on a mask and then soak in the tub. That allows me to indulge in two things I enjoy at once.

It took me quite a bit of looking to find a face mask that was glycerin free. I have yet to find a single sheet mask that doesn’t contain glycerin. If you find one, please let me know.

I currently have two masks that I like. I use the Sunday Riley Saturn Sulfur Acne Mask when I’ve got a lot of break outs. It helps dry them out and prevent further break outs. I also sometimes use it as a spot treatment at night. This is a pricey mask, but it works really well for me when I get acne during my period.

The other mask I use is the S.W. Basics Hibiscus Mask. I like that it’s cruelty free, made with organic ingredients, and is made in the USA. It’s also pretty affordable. Because it’s a powder that you add water to, it’s my preferred face mask for traveling.

While I wish I could use those trendy sheet masks, these two products do allow me to have my own mini spa days. What face masks do you like to use?
